This rapid setting wall & floor tile grout by Norcros Adhesives in Coffee Bean is a fine textured, water resistant grout that can be used to grout all types of floor and wall tiles including natural stone with a joint of 1 mm to 12 mm. As it is water resistant, it can be used both internally and externally. This grout can be used in areas where water is present and in places with high humidity such as showers and wet rooms. Because of this, it contains anti-bacterial properties that help protect against mould as well as preventing any discolouration from occurring. In areas where the water is hard, like a swimming pool, it can be fully immersed. The grout is water resistant but not waterproof. If you need the background to be completely waterproofed, the use of Norcros Wet Seal Tanking Kit should be considered. It contains a unique polymeric binder called Rock-TiteTM. This polymer enhances the flexibility of adhesive, allowing a greater range of fixing possibilities which are normally only achieved by the addition of a separate compound. If you are fixing tile onto single layers of time, the use of Adi Flex Grout Additive is advised. The solution is incorporated into the mix at a 1:1 dilution ratio with water. Manufacturers have requested that you ensure that you do not over wet the grout as this will weaken it and compromise its overall effectiveness.
